I hate to waste any of it! I reread the recipe thinking I made a mistake but no everything was exact. Made this this past weekend and loved it! You definitely need to try these with SunButter. I was so surprised by the result of this banana bread — it was delicious!!! One batter with endless topping combinations.
Amazingly Wholesome 5 Ingredient Banana Bread Muffins
One wants a banana, another cereal, and of course the little one always seems to ask for a cereal I do not have in the home. It is just no fun starting the day on a stressed out note so I have began making mass batches of my 3 ingredeint oatmeal banana muffins. This recipe is all my own, and was concocted from trial and error when my then 4 year old gluten free child needed a good breakfast choice.
She was not a fan of snack bars, hated most gluten free cereals, and to top things off she hates hot oatmeal. That left me looking for quick and easy muffins recipes that I can make once a week and reheat from frozen. Oh I love how easy these are to make! This would be a much better option for me to have on hand to snack on at home! I will definitely be trying these! My little ones are the same way. Thanks so much for sharing! Banana Oatmeal Muffins 9 recipe photos. In a separate bowl, combine the mashed bananas, eggs, vanilla and butter.
Add the banana mixture to the flour mixture, stirring just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Spoon batter into greased muffin cups. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes start watching around 12 minutes; oven temperatures vary or until toothpick inserted into center muffin comes out clean. Let cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove muffins from pan and let cool on wire rack.

They popped out of the pan with ease. And you were right, super tasty. My only suggestion is that if you have a cheap blender like I do, opt for the food processor. Silly question, but do the bananas actually need to be brown? Hi Karen, I just made these muffins, and only had one really ripe banana too, so I had to use two just barely ripe ones as well. The muffins still turned out well, I think the only difference is that they would be sweeter with riper bananas.

Made these last night and they are exactly what I have been missing in my life!! Great protein snack with all natural sugar and they taste fantastic! My husband loved them too! It is one of the recipes are very tasty!

Only did two things different than the recipe: My ten-month old son loves them, too — sans chocolate chips. Just made these muffins! Looking forward to your January recipes! Can you replace the bananas with pumpkin purée? What would be the measurement difference?
